The SDF Military Relations Office and the Civil Relations Office held a tribal reconciliation between clans of the “Bakara, Al-Jeis, and Shammar”. The reconciliation session was attended by tribal leaders and a delegation from the Autonomous Administration in Raqqa city.
A month-long dispute between the Al-Jeis and Shammar clans in Raqqa city escalated into fighting between the two sides, in which a member of the Bakara clan was killed in Raqqa city.
The SDF Military Relations Office plays a vital role in resolving tribal conflicts in NE Syria, and it works to bring the region’s clans together.
