On September 21, the Military Academies Command inaugurated six new military training courses at the Martyr Adnan Abu Amjad Academy in Raqqa. These courses included four specialized courses and two for military commanders.
A total of 160 fighters are participating in the six-month-long courses. The curriculum encompasses a wide range of subjects, including intellectual and political lessons, as well as practical military training. Fighters will receive instruction on various types of light and medium weapons and learn about battle preparation and leadership.
The opening ceremony was attended by several commanders of the Syrian Democratic Forces, and it began with a moment of silence to honor the martyrs. The commander Mustafa Kobani delivered a speech in which he congratulated the fighters on the commencement of their training, commended their high morale, and emphasized the crucial role of training in enhancing the fighters’ military and political efficiency and readiness.
The ceremony concluded with the fighters taking the military oath.
