On Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM, a group of four ISIS terrorists riding motorcycles attacked a fuel tanker traveling between Al-Shaddadi and Al-Dashisha in the southern countryside of al-Hasaka.
The terrorist attack resulted in the death of the driver, Ibrahim Shehab from Aleppo, and damages caused to the tanker.
Following the attack, a group of self-defense forces intervened and clashed with the terrorists, leading to the martyrdom of one fighter of the self-defense forces.
This incident, along with others, underscores the persistent threat posed by ISIS terrorist cells which has been exacerbated by the ongoing aggressions by the Turkish occupation of our region. To effectively counter this threat, continuous military operations are imperative to eliminate these cells.
