Yesterday, our fighters successfully thwarted multiple attacks launched by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against our positions across all fronts.
While Turkish warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes in the vicinity of Tishreen Dam, accompanied by heavy artillery shelling, the mercenaries attempted to advance on our positions under the cover of aerial and artillery bombardment. However, our fighters confronted them, leading to intense clashes that resulted in multiple casualties among the mercenaries, though the exact number remains unknown.
The mercenaries later attempted another attack using suicide drones, but our fighters successfully intercepted them, shooting down four drones.
On the Qara Qwzaq Bridge front, the Turkish occupation’s warplanes carried out multiple airstrikes on the village of Al-Tinah. Additionally, The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries indiscriminately shelled the villages of Al-Tina, Ja’dah, Bir Hisso, Ghasq, Dekan, Melha, and Al-Sana’a, as well as the Sayfi Hill and Qara Qwzaq Hill. More than 110 shells were fired using heavy artillery, tanks, rocket launchers, and mortars, leading to extensive damage to civilians’ properties.
Amid the ongoing air and artillery attacks, the mercenaries launched several attacks on our positions; however, our forces thwarted the attack after fierce clashes that resulted in the elimination of two mercenaries, the wounding of several others, and the damaging of two vehicles belonging to the mercenaries. Another attempted attack on the Qara Qwzaq Bridge axis was also thwarted by our forces, with further clashes leading to additional mercenary casualties, though exact numbers remain unconfirmed. In these confrontations, our forces destroyed two surveillance cameras and a mercenary outpost used as a launching point for attacks. In the northwestern axis of the Qara Qwzaq Bridge front, our forces engaged in direct combat with mercenaries following another attempted attack. Several mercenaries were eliminated or wounded, forcing the remaining mercenaries to flee from the battlefield.
On the Deir Hafer front, the mercenaries launched an attack from the village of Al-Imam on one of our positions, but our forces successfully thwarted the attack responded following intense clashes in which several mercenaries were eliminated and wounded, and a mercenary vehicle was destroyed. Meanwhile, a group of mercenaries attempted to infiltrate our lines, but the vigilance of our fighters foiled their attempt. Two mercenaries were captured, while the rest fled the battlefield.
The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries also shelled the outskirts of Sheikhlar/Al-Shuyukh village using heavy weapons, causing material damage. Meanwhile, Turkish warplanes and UCAVs continued to fly intensively over the skies of Ain Issa and its surrounding countryside throughout the day.
