In a Precise Security Operation, Our Forces Capture a Dangerous Spy Affiliated with the Defunct Regime in al-Hasaka

On March 2, our SDF’s Military Operations Teams (TOL) conducted a precise and tightly coordinated security operation in the city of al-Hasaka, targeting Islam Marouf, aka Islam Khafaji, a spy affiliated with the defunct Syrian regime.
Based on extensive investigations and intelligence gathered on the suspect, our forces raided the spy’s hiding place in one of al-Hasaka’s neighborhoods and successfully captured him.
Marouf is considered one of the most dangerous operatives involved in numerous terrorist attacks against our forces, as well as against the international coalition forces in the cities of al-Hasaka and Deir Ezzor in an attempt to destabilize security and stability in the region.
Despite ongoing efforts to resist attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, our SDF forces remain steadfast in their mission to eliminate threats and maintain stability in our territories.
