Our Forces Thwart an ISIS Cell Attack in Deir Ezzor’s Eastern Countryside

Our SDF forces successfully thwarted an attack by an ISIS terrorist cell targeting our SDF’s Dhiban Brigade in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The terrorist cell initiated the terrorist attack by firing a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) at the brigade’s headquarters, followed by heavy machine gun fire against our fighters. In response, our forces engaged swiftly and effectively, forcing the terrorists to flee.
Our SDF forces remain vigilant in their mission to track down and eliminate ISIS terrorist cells, ensuring lasting security throughout the area.
