With the participation of the international coalition forces, our SDF Counter-terrorism Units (YAT) spotted an ISIS cell that was about to carry out terrorist acts in Deir Ezzor aiming at destabilizing the region’s safety and security and distracting the ongoing Operation al-Jazeera Thunderbolt.
Therefore, our forces conducted three security operations, arresting three terrorists and confiscating the following:
1 – Kalashnikov rifles /2/
2- Mauser rifle /2/
3 – Grenades /3/
4 – IED /1/.
5- Machine gun /1/
6- Pistols /2/
7 – Quivers /3/.
8 – Smartphone /1/
9- Ammunition and magazines
